Using hemp for our everyday needs is not new, archeologists have found remnants of hemp fabric from Iraq that dates back to 8,000 BC! In 2600 BC the Chinese mastered harvesting hemp and weaving the fibers into a fabric, and have been producing hemp clothing and even hemp based paper since. The use of hemp has spread like wild fire over the centuries.

Although many countries have produced Hemp for a long time it was never the preferred fabric for clothing, it was generally too rough for most applications. It wasn't until Chinese scientist in the 80's discovered a way to remove the rough fibers without compromising the strength of the fiber.
